A slight problem with viewing the downloaded multimedia

Once i have extracted the files i use media player to play the videos but it says it needs a codec which it looks for but cant find so it just plays the sound

Can anyone help Thanks

you need to download the divx codec. you can get it here:http://www.divx.com/divx/
