Big question!

I wrote a fanfic about Avril, but I wondering if I should post it. The thing is, I made Avril gay. I don't assume for 2.5 seconsds that she is in real life at all. Just want ya'lls opinion on whether I should post it. I don't want to get anyone mad or have ppl scream at me.

Ok ppl: I am going to post what I have so far!


Ch 1


It had been a long day… Avril had just finished another kick ass concert in Texas… the crowd had gone wild when she’d come back for a second encore. She wiped the sweat off her brow as she walked back towards her tour bus. Her body guard, Henry was there standing at the entrance to ward off any crazed fans that might want to get a sneak peak at the star.

“Hey Avril, heard you had a great show… congrats.” said Henry with a smile.

“Yeah, it was wild,” she said with a half smile.

“Something wrong?” he asked.

“Nah,” she said, walking up the steps of her bus.

Avril flopped down on her bed and closed her eyes… within minutes she was dreaming about Lilly. She didn’t realize how much she missed her … it had been about three months since they’d last been together.

Coming out had been very difficult for Avril. Living in a small town and having very devout Christian parents didn’t help the situation much. She remembered her father screaming and her mom crying. Her dad was convinced that she was going to rot in hell for being gay, and her mom thought it was all her fault! If only she’d made Avril wear more dresses she often wailed.

The whole ordeal had ended in Avril being kicked out of the house, and having to live with Lilly when she wasn’t on tour. Lilly’s parents didn’t really like the idea of the Avril living there, but since she wasn’t around much, due to her hectic tour schedule, they were successfully able to keep the whole relationship out of sight and out of mind.

Avril rolled over and buried her face in her pillow. She often wondered why she chose this type of public life. But then, she reminded herself, this is what she had wanted, to sing.

Just then, Evan, Avril’s guitarist appeared on the bus, he walked over and tapped Avril on the shoulder.

“Hey, Av, you asleep said Evan.

“No, Im studying the inside of my eyelids… yes, I was sleeping” Avril said, sorry that the dream about her and Lilly cuddling on the sheepskin rug in Lilly’s room had been interrupted.

Avril sat up on her bunk and motioned for Evan to sit beside her. She and Evan had spent many nights after shows talking about stuff that bothered them. They had a connection that Matt, Jesse and Charlie didn’t understand.

“Av, whats the matter, you look sad, said Evan putting an arm around Avrils tiny waist.

“Nothing,” Avril replied, hoping Evan wouldn’t ask further questions. She was wrong. Evan could tell when she was lying, and she knew it.

“That’s not true and you know it Avril Lavgine, out with it or I will be forced to perform tickle torture until you spill it!!!” He wiggled his fingers at Avril who laughed.

“Ok ok, I don’t want to get tickled, so I am going to tell you… but only because you know I am very ticklish!!!!” “I miss Lilly, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen her. I tried to call her last night when we were in Arizona, but her cell phone must have been turned off.”

That was still a sore spot with Evan. When Avril had told him that she was gay, he was ok with it. That is, until she met Lilly. He always thought that HE would end up with Avril, and now that Lilly was in the picture, his dream of being with her was shattered. The look on his face must have given away what he was thinking.

“Evan, I don’t want to start another argument about me and Lilly being together and how much you don’t like it” said Avril firmly. Evan knew that tone in her voice, so he decided to let the issue drop.


“Look, its getting late, I’ll see you in the morning, said Avril yawning. Evan walked off towards his bunk, and Avril shut out the lights. Avril slept fitfully, she kept having dreams about Evan trying to take her away from Lilly. After one particularly vivid dream, in which she was dancing with Lilly at a club, and Evan grabbed her away and tried to kiss her, she woke up in a cold sweat. She stared into the darkness trying to convince herself that it was just a bad dream. The minutes seemed to crawl by as Avril tried to let sleep over come her. She closed her eyes, and was soon asleep again.



“Avril!!!!” said a voice... She opened one eye and stared at the speaker. It was Shauna.

“Your late!!!” You have an interview in 20 minutes!” she said, rather annoyed.

“I’m coming,” said Avril sleepily. She quickly threw on some clothes, grabbed a bite to eat and hurried to the waiting van.


The interview seemed to take forever. She was so tired of answering the same questions over and over again. She felt like a broken record. Then came the most dreaded question of all.

“So, Avril is there anyone special in your life,” the reporter asked.
Avrl put on her best fake smile and said, “No, not right now.” She shuddered to think what would happen to her career if the media found out that she was gay, and that she had a girlfriend. So far she had done an excellent job of hiding it by flirting with her band members, and even going so far as to let herself get caught by the cameras hugging Jesse. That had caused its fair share of rumors to crop up, but she decided not to say anything, and keep people guessing.

“Ok, that’s all the time we have for today, thanks for coming Avril, and we look forward to having you on our show again.”

Chapter 2

“Give it up for Avril Lavigne,” yelled the announcer. It was concert time again… Avril ran out on stage and felt a rush of adrenaline flow through her. She started singing SK8erBoi with all the energy she could muster. But, tucked in the back of her mind was her thoughts about Lilly. She jumped around on stage trying to ignore her pain. But, suddenly, in the middle of Tomorrow, she burst into tears. The boys tried to comfort her, but it was to no avail. Avril ran back stage into her dressing room and locked the door.

****************2 hours later********************

“Avril, open the door, you can’t stay in there forever.” Matt pleaded

“Yes I can”, she said through her sobs she knew she sounded really immature saying it, but at that moment, it didn’t matter.

“Av, come on, whats wrong”??? Asked Evan, who was getting rather tired of talking to the outside of the door.”

“Why do you care?,” Avril snapped

Evan felt like he had been slapped in the face. Avril’s last comment hurt like a stinging punch. He almost wished it had been a real punch. The pain would go away faster.

Finally, Avril, exausted from crying, decided to unlock the door. The boys walked in to find her lying on the floor of her dressing room fast asleep. She had worn herself out crying, and had fallen fast asleep after crawling over to unlock the door. Evan gently lifted Avril off the floor and carried her out the back entrance to the waiting tour bus. It had been a long night of all of them.


As Evan lay in bed, he thought to himself “Why does she beat herself up like that?” I know I haven’t been too supportive of this whole thing with her and Lilly… I gotta do something! After wracking his brain for what seemed like hours, he fell asleep.

Chapter 3 :) Enjoy!

Evan got up really early the next morning, and slipped out of the tour bus before everyone was awake. Luckily he had taken Avril’s address book out of her bag the night before so that he wouldn’t have her waking up and demanding why he was going through her stuff. He fished around for his cell phone, and flipped to the right page in Avrils address book. He hoped that he wouldn’t get screamed at for calling so early in the morning. Quickly, before loosing his courage, he dialed the number.

On the third ring, a sleepy voice picked up.

“Who is this, and why are you calling me at 6 am?” You’d better have a good reason said the voice.

“Hi Lilly, its me, Evan, you know, Avril’s best friend.” Lilly’s voice changed at the mention of her girlfriend’s name.

“Oh hi Evan, what do you want?”

“Well, I was wondering if you could somehow weasel your parents into letting you come out to visit Avril!” “It would be a surprise, so don’t say a word!”

“I’ve missed Avril so much said Lilly, a lump growing in her throat. Let me go ask my parents. You know they are not too keen on the idea of me and Avril being together in the first place, but I will see what I can do.”

They said their goodbyes and hung up. Evan slipped back into the bus and put Avrils address book away just in the nick of time. He managed to kick off his shoes and land in his bunk before anyone noticed.

Avril lay in her bunk and looked up at the ceiling. She still felt really drained from the night before. She let out a long sigh, and got up just as Shauna walked in.

“Hi Av,”she said slowly.. “About last night… Avril cut her off.

“I don’t want to talk about it right now.”

“Im sorry Av, but it looks like your going to have to.” Shauna reached into her bag and pulled out a copy of the local newspaper. There in 26 point font on the front page were the following words.

ROCKER BURSTS INTO TEARS DURRING CONCERT, RUMORED TO HAVE A LESBIAN LOVER , RELIABLE SOURCE SAYS.

Chapter 4 here it is!

Avril stared at the headline for five whole minutes without saying a word. Who could have told??? Who could have betrayed her trust like that? She had worked so hard to keep this a secret from the world. She glanced around at her band mates who had come running when they saw Avril standing stock still with the newspaper clutched so tightly in her hand that her knuckles were turning white. Suddenly she was struck with a horrible thought. She turned white as a sheet.

“Av, say something,” said Matt looking at Avril like she was going to pass out. Slowly, and very quietly, Avril said

“Did someone say anything to the audience at the concert last night? After I ran off stage.”?

Evan stared at his feet and suddenly felt very sick. “I…… I did,” he said slowly. He hurried to finish his sentence before anyone could cut him off.


“All I said was that you were very upset and that you missed your girlfriend.” There must have been reporter in the audience. I had no idea”

Avril suddenly became more angry than petrified. “YOU DID WHAT??? She hissed. You knew my entire career was at stake here! Now if LA Reid and Arista find out about this, I will never work again!!!! I hate you Evan Taubenfield, I hate you!! I want you out of my site, you disgusting piece of slime! Her next action surprised even her. With one swift movement, she kneed Evan in the groin. He fell over writhing in pain. Avril just stood there, the fear returning in a rush. Her legs seemed to give out from under her as she collapsed beside Evan, and burst into tears.

When Evan finally found his voice again, it sounded rather squeaky at first.

“What was that for?” he squeaked.

“I… don’t know”, said Avril between sobs. “I’m so sorry!!!”

“First you call me a disgusting piece of slime, kick me in the balls and you expect me to forgive you??? Well, you are mistaken Avril Lavigne!!!!! With that, Evan hobbled over to his bunk and stuck his headphones on, and refused to talk to anyone for the rest of the day.

Chapter 5: The next day was scorching hot. Avril and the boys were in New York now. It was 100 degrees out side, and everyone was grumpy. Evan had recovered from his encounter with Avril’s knee, but was still sulking quite a bit. Matt decided to try to talk to him.

“Hey Ev,” he said nonchalantly

“Are you here to berate me?” asked Evan with anger in his voice.

“No… but you did screw up royally. Why did you do that???”

“It was the truth.” Evan said flatly

“But you knew what would happen,” Matt started to say

“No I didn’t!!!!! I had no idea that one comment would cause the shit to hit the fan like that.” Evan spat.

“Look man, I am going to leave you alone because obviously you’ve got a lot of rage in there.” Matt walked back to his bunk and cranked up his discman.

Meanwhile, Avril was thinking of how she could get out of this mess, and what she was going to say if LA Reid asked her about it. She resigned herself to the fact that at sometime, she was going to have to tell her fans the truth. She was going to have to face the music at some point. Lying was not the answer, she reflected. But, she was so used to it, that it had become second nature to her. Avril sighed and picked up her cell phone, without even thinking about it, she dialed Lilly’s number

“Hello?” said Lilly, who had picked up on the first ring.

“Hi honey!” Avril said, trying not to cry. Although it had only been 4 days since she last talked to Lilly, it seemed like an eternity.


“Whats up Av?, you sound sad.” Asked Lilly

“Well, let’s just say the shit hit the fan.” Avril said, quietly.
“What do you mean?” Lilly said, sounding concerned

“Well, the other night, I got really upset during a concert, and ran off stage. It was because I missed you so much.” Av was trying very hard not to cry.

“Well, Evan, being a moron told the audience I ran off stage because I missed you.”

“Oh shit” said Lilly, realizing the impact of what Avril had just said.

“It gets worse” said Avril, wondering if she should continue.

“I guess there was some newspaper reporter in the audience, and Evan’s remark ended up front page news.”

“Im sure he didn’t mean to say that”, said Lilly trying to comfort Avril.

“Well, lets just say I got so mad that I kneed him in the crotch.”

“OUCH” said Lilly, trying not to laugh

“Can I talk to Evan for a minute?” Lilly asked

“Why?” asked Avril . Lilly had to think on her feet.

“Umm, he wanted to know if I had Korn’s latest album. He wants me to burn a copy for him, and he needs my address.”

“Uh, ok…” said Avril, not beliving a word of what Lilly just said. She walked over and tossed her cell on Evan’s bed. “Its Lilly, she wants to talk to you.” Evan quickly got up and locked himself in the bathroom

“Hi Lil, whats up?”

“Hi Ev, I heard what you did, I can’t say happy about it, but I am less angry than Avril.”

“The good news is, my parents said I could fly out!!!”


“That’s great!” said Evan, hoping this would put him back on Avrils good side.

“When do you fly out?”

“Tomorrow!” said Lilly excitedly.

“Whoa! That soon??? The boys and I will come up with some excuse to drag Av to the airport.

Chapter 6:

“Come on Av, we’re going to be late”, yelled Evan who was already half way out the door of the tour bus.

“And just why are we going to the air port at 7 am again?” Avril asked, slightly annoyed.

“Because uh, your great aunt Rose is coming to one of your concerts!” We wanted it to be a surprise, said Evan, trying to sound convincing.

“But I don’t even HAVE a great aunt rose, said Avril slightly miffed.

“Oh just come on”, said Matt, gently shoving Avril out the door.

They got their just as Lilly’s flight announced its arrival. The boys quickly ran to check the moniters to see what gate she was at, and ran the whole way to the terminal.

When they reached the gate, a striking red head with flashing greenish blue eyes scanned the terminal for a familiar face. She spotted Avril standing with the boys over in a corner, and ran up to Avril. She turned around just in time, avoiding being knocked over.


“LILLY???? Is that you? Avril said excitedly

“Hey baby!!! Yeah, its me! I missed you so much!” Since she was slightly taller than Avril, she had to bend over to give her a hug. It felt so good to be in each others arms again. They got Lilly’s luggage from the baggage claim and headed back to the van.

On the way back to the tour bus, the girls talked non stop about what had been going on.

“So, how did you guys manage to pull this off?” Avril asked. Charlie pointed at Evan and said “It was all Evan’s idea, we were just in on getting you to the airport.”

As soon as they reached the tour bus, Shauna announced that they were going to spend the night in a hotel in the next city.

The concert that night rocked. Avril was full of energy and really brought down the house. She couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel so that she and Lilly could get a chance to talk alone.

Later, after the show, Avril and the boys headed up to their rooms. It was decided that Avril and Lilly would share a room so that they could catch up. As soon as they got in the door, Lilly and Avril dropped their luggage and flopped on the big bed they were sharing.

“Its so great to see you again, sweetie, I’d almost forgotten what you looked like.” Said Avril

“Like I could forget those gorgous hazel eyes, or the way your hair falls over your face. Said Lilly. It was then that Avril leaned in and gave Lilly a sweet kiss on the lips.

“God I missed those lips, said Avril… and soon the two of them were kissing passionately.

“Sheesh, do you think they will be stuck together like that forever, asked Jesse, who along with the other guys had come to Avril’s room to say goodnight. They immediately pulled away from each other, both blushing.

“Don’t you guys know how to knock,” Avril said in mock anger.

“Umm, no, we forgot how”, said Evan, teasingly. Avril threw a pillow at him. He and the guys took that as their cue to leave.

“Night Av, and Lilly”

“Night guys” , they both said together. After they had gone, Avril curled up in Lilly’s arms and fell fast asleep.

Here is Chapter 7! Enjoy!
Chapter 7: Lilly woke up before Avril did the next morning. She glanced over at Avril who was still fast asleep. Carefully, she tucked a piece of hair behind Avril’s ear and kissed her on the cheek. She loved to watch Av sleep, which she rarely got to do these days. Slowly Av woke up and rolled over and sat up.

“Hey honey, your awake.” said Lilly

Avril yawned and said, “Yeah, sorta”

Av looked at the clock next to the bed and said “Oh shit! I’m late!”

Lilly, jumping into action opened a drawer and tossed Av some clothes.

“Thanks!” said Av, kissing Lilly on the lips.

“I have to run! I have 3 interviews and a photo shoot. I’ll see you around 4 ok?” as Avril went out the door.

“Ok,” said Lilly, trying not to sound disappointed. She knew that Avril was a very busy person, and that came with being with her. Lilly just hoped that they would have a little more time to spend together.

Lilly took a nice long hot shower, got dressed and headed downstairs for a breakfast alone.

“Stop moping Lilly, she chided herself. You and Avril will have plenty of time to spend together later!!” If there was one thing that cheered Lilly up when she was depressed, it was drawing. She carried a sketch pad with her wherever she went. She loved to sit outside for hours and draw what ever she saw. She couldn’t wait to tell Avril that she had been accepted to The Philladelpia school of Art for next fall. It had been her dream since she was a little kid to get to go there. She smiled and took out her stetch book. Outside, she saw a lone rose, trying to grow out of the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Lost in thought, she started to draw the flower that reminded her so much of Avril.

Here is chapter 8!!!!!! sorry for the wait
Chapter 8: Lilly glanced at her watch for the tenth time. It was 4:45pm and there was no sign of Avril.

“Where is she,” Lilly wondered.

“She’s probably tied up at the photo shoot or something.” Lilly went back to shading in the rose.

Lilly was just putting the finishing touches on her picture when Avril and the boys came bounding in.

“Hey sweetie,” said Av, standing on her tip toes to give Lilly a kiss on the lips.

“Hey beautiful” said Lilly returning the kiss.

The two girls decided to head out to a club to go dancing while the guys when to a bar nextdoor. The club was called Lucky, and it was a very popular club for the young adult scene. Avril and Lilly slipped in the backdoor so as not to be mobbed. Soon, they were dancing the night away. After a while, Av was thirsty, so she went to the bar to get a bottle of water.

“Want one?” she called back to Lilly who had followed her over.

“Sure!” Av tossed her a cold one and the two went back to dancing.

Meanwhile, at the bar next door, Evan and the guys were getting VERY drunk, especially Evan. At first it had been cute seeing Avril and Lilly hold hands and kiss, but now, it was getting on his nerves. Why wasn’t HE doing that? He threw his head back, tossing down another shot of Vodka. Without realizing what he was doing, he got up and left the bar, without paying his tab, which had gotten to be rather pricey. He went next door to the club where Avril and Lilly were dancing. When he saw them, his jellousy took over. He strode over to them, and pulled on Avril’s arm. He pulled so hard he nearly yanked her arm out of its socket.

“LET ME GO!” Avril yelled, clawing at Evans arm. Evan held on to Av’s arm like a vise. She dragged her into the hallway of the club, and threw her against the wall. He immediately tried to shove his tongue down Av’s throat.

“BLECH., stop that!” Avril screamed, hoping Lilly would come find her, and kick Evan’s ass in the process.

Lilly tried to weave through the crowd in the direction that Evan and Avril had gone. Suddenly, there was a part in the crowd, and she spotted Avril sitting on the floor in the hallway crying, and what else she saw made her want to scream.

Here is Chapter 9!
Chapter 9: Lilly stared at Avril in disbelief. A big black and blue mark surrounded her right eye. There were several more cuts and bruises on her arms and chest. Her left hand was bleeding quite a bit. She could see a big red spot on Avrils shirt where she had wrapped the bottom of it around the wound.

“WHO did this to you?” Lilly whispered when she found her voice.

“Evan.” Avril said horsely “I don’t know do…” She burst into tears again. Lilly sat down next to Avril and held her tight.

“We have to get you to a doctor” , said Lilly

“No, I will be ok,” said Av trying to sound convincing. A pain shot through her chest as she tried to get up. Lilly saw the pain in her eyes, and said.

“No Av, you are not ok!” I am going to call 911

20 minutes later Avril was whisked off to a near by hospital. Lilly sat in the ambulance with her, only because Avril would have thrown a fit otherwise. The nurses kept firing questions at her. Avril joked later that it was worse than an interview!

When they arrived, Avril was put on a gurney and hurried down the hallway to an examination room. Again, Lilly was allowed to go with her, only because of who Avril was. For once, Lilly was thankful she had a famous girlfriend.

Once Avril was settled in her room, the doctor came to talk to her and Lilly.

“I’m afraid I have bad news. We took some x-rays of Avrils chest and she has two broken ribs. She will be laid up for a while.”

“When I get my hands on EVAN”, screamed Lilly. She never finished her sentence, because at that moment, Shauna, and the boys showed up. Evan was on there, which was lucky for him at that moment due to the rage that was inside Lilly. Shauna ran over to Avril and gave her a hug.

“OUCH!” said Avril.

“OMG, did I hurt you, Av??” Shauna said, about ready to burst into tears.

“No,” said Avril, wincing “The doctor just told me that I have two broken ribs.” And with that, Shauna fainted.

WHy thank you! *takes a bow* Due to really sucky circumstances, I might not be updating very often. You see, my gf's(girlfriend) parents are in the hole money wise, and they think that I am "too expensive" to stay with them anymore, so they are sending me home. Back to living with my parents. So, I am flying home Sunday afternoon my time. I just found this out YESTERDAY, and they want me GONE by Sunday. I've been either crying or just sitting around in shock as of last night and today. Anyway, I really want to continue this story. I've put alot of work into it. I will take a copy of it home with me on a disk, or at least I will try to. *HUGS* and thanks for the support!

Thanks guys... I was able to back up the story on a hard disk, so I can take it home with me. :) I did it under the pretenses of backing up stuff like my resume and other documents. One more won't kill anyone Shh! Don't tell :) Thanks for the support guys, you all rock!!!

Chapter 10

“Someone get some ammonia, and quick!” yelled a nurse who happened to have been in the room when Shauna fainted. A capsule was quickly fetched and within seconds, Shauna was awake.

“Ohhhh, what happened,?”she said, still feeling woozy.

“You fainted, right after I said that I had two broken ribs… could someone get me some Advil, ” said Avril, who had (with some difficulty) sat up

“Ok, said the doctor, after Shauna had been put into a chair. I think that Avril has had enough exicitement for one night. We are going to keep her overnight so that we can observe her. She should be ready to go home in the morning.”

Shauna, who declared that now she was feeling fabulous, gave Avril a small hug and and left with the boys. Lilly had opted to stay at the hospital with Avril. She knew that she couldn’t leave her alone, not after what happened. Lilly yawned, said good night to Avril, curled up in a chair and fell asleep.

Both Lilly and Avril slept terribly that night. Avril was woken every two hours to make sure that she was ok. Lilly kept having nightmares of Avril slipping into a coma or some other horrible tragedy. In the morning, a very stiff, and sore Avril walked out of the hospital with Shauna and the boys (minus Evan) and went back to their hotel. Shauna immediately got on the phone and called LA Reid. After relating the whole story to him, he asked that they meet in his office in three weeks when Avril was feeling somewhat better. He said that then, Evans future with the band would be decided.
