I think that perhaps a partial solution to the problem that plagues most online communities--that being the invasion of "haters"--is that a there be a forum dedicated to the defense of Avril. In essence, this would be the place where we invite all unenlightened dickheads to spout off whatever nonsense seeps out of their pea-sized brains and we get to fling it back at them in a deconstructive, world-shattering manner.

Just an idea to ease possible tensions.

Myself: "No Direction" off of Generator or "Entropy" off Against the Grain though I'm particularly fond of "You" and "Do What You Want" (No Control and 80-85)

After Stranger than Fiction my interest in the band's material begins to wane. It's transitioned more from punk to punk rock, and I'm an old-schooler. They still FUCKING ROCK live, and the addition of their band member from Minor Threat since New America is definitely an asset.

And, c'mon, you were on the right track with Suffer and No Control, but "Infected" is every mainstream dimwit's favorite BR song. The best song off STF, IMO, is, well, a toss-up between "Stranger than Fiction" and "Better off Dead."

the antis r sposed 2 stick 2 da anti section...but they don't, and they just end up mocking everyone. they're pretty intelligient 2, I bet they're like 30 or sumfin(they must hav no life if they spend all their time devoted 2 badmouthing avril), and can usually make a fool of the younger fans.
lets not ruin this good thing we got here.

I wouldn't worry too much.. this forum is sooo much better than UBB :D

If someone starts making stupid posts, i can simply disable his privilege to 'create threads' in one particular forum or on the whole board

I can hide forums from certain groups of people (ie troublesome antis woulnd't get to see the Avril forums but would have access to the rest of the board)

Some people who dislike Avril can still post here and be cool, don't be too quick to judge.. the board is open to everyone. :)
