Welcome to the 3rd semi-annual AVRIL STAR AWARDS! Yes, finally - the third one. It seems just like last year our first one happened... Oh yeah - because it WAS last year! [Insert laughter from audience]

This year, I, sadly, am not counting hosting the awards because of the incident that happened last awards. Many of you are wondering: "What incident?!" Well, that's another story, little grasshopper.

Anyways, here are the categories for this year! It's going to be a little different..

Okay we need some serious work in the creative writing section, Bob. What you have there...I don't think it's fair... so just listen to me for a sec, Bubba.

Best creative writer should go. That's bullshit. There are so many in there, it would be at least a 10 way tie, which blows.

Maybe things like this instead:

- Best poem in the past year
- Most consistent writer (Poems always very good and frequent, etc...)
- Saddest writer
- Most original writer
- Mastery Of Poetic Techniques

Things like that. Much better. Yum. G'bonk, vroom!

Those are good, but if we dilute the voting too much, people will not completely fill out the ballot and we'll have like winners with 3-4 votes. But i like best poem and originality :) and i agree there are a lot of good writers.. so i don't know..

Most Original Writer
Saddest Writer

Then that would be great. Three categories for the whole CW forum isn't a lot.

Martine summed it up.. it used to be an award that should be looked down on, but people were actually proud to be called a spammer.. its not a good thing :P

As for funniest member, I'll add that one right away

And the others.. unwanted, and boring poster: i want these awards to be positive.. so none of the awards should put down any user :)

Top poster is, to me, a synonym for best overall member (member who contributes good quality posts and who's friendly to everyone :))

I think by that he meant saddest/most emotional/most touching writer.. not like saddest/worst lol but sure i too liked Best Creative Writer :)
