Blink 182

I have not seen a review about this album yet so I decided to make one myself. Well I finally got the album the other night and im just not to sure of it just yet. I have been a fan of Blink since the Enema of the State album but this new style they have makes you have to have a required taste to it. As I was listening to “feeling this” it had a sound like Box car racer sound which is awesome but the other songs ah I dunno how to label them. Im not really sure as to if im a fan of this new sound I miss the old Blink.

yea i got the cd the first day it came out...i agree the sound is extremely different a takes some getting use to..i'm still not use to it but i've heard alot of people say that its the type of cd that you have to listen to a couple of times to finally fully enjoy it...some songs stand out more than others for example:
-feeling this
-obvious
-Stockholm syndrome
its a good cd but the old blink is better

Yeah, I really don't like their new song. I saw a bit of it on a commercial for their new album and it was awful.

Sure, it's different stuff and I respect them for trying something new. It's like their experimenting with sound. I don't think I'll buy the album, though--I'll probably end up burning it. I'm not as into them as I was three years ago.

On another note....Tom Can't Sing. If you ever listen to any of their older albums (like Buddha), man...I just can't listen to them 'cuz Tom's voice is so terrible.

yeah i liked the old blink. i don't mind "feeling this", so who knows if i'll buy the album?

you get used to the new sound after awhile but still it's not the old blink we used to love. I like some of there new songs for when your really down .. it helps explain your own feelings.

Yeah I kind of miss their old style too, and the first time I listened to their new CD I didn't like it. But now that I've heard all the songs a few times, it's growing on me, and I actually enjoy it. I think it's good to see bands experimenting with different sounds, but still I don't want Blink to lose touch of their old sound. It would be good to see a mix of different tunes and stuff.

I just got it today! It's not bad....but definatley different from what i'm used to hearing! I think it's pretty good though!! i think Always is my fav song on the CD

I heard Stockholm Syndrome, and I liked it. But I need to hear the rest of the cd...I really really don't like Feeling This. The radio DOES play it a lot, but I've just never liked it anyway...not quite sure why

I don't know. I am a fan of them in general, and I haven't heard the whole CD, but that single they released is just crap. On an off-topic note, the new Offspring song is crap too.

i've listened to blink's new album, and i think it's pretty good. i like the interlude aswell, thats kool.

I havent got the album but i downloaded a couple of songs. (can't remmeber which ones :P ) i don't like Feeling This. i think theyve got too much vocals at the same time, and bits with instruments, so i dont think im gonna get their album!
