Sometimes after my cat sleeps she has a twitch so I dunno if this would be natural for your cat. I also suggest you take him to the vet asap and make sure everything is fine. I hope everything will be ok. Don't worry I would do anything for a cat also even sacurfise(sp?) my life.

okay i have a cat too and it could be that it's a little sick..its possible that it was having the urge to vomit....i know my cat throws up alot...basically stay calm and if these actions continue then take him to the vet

yeah about now would be the time when cats get colds. I know that sounds silly, but it happens. He/she should be okay until you take him to a vet. Don't panic. Cats are tough little boogers

Its totally normal for Cats to twitch and drool. they do it all the time - same with dogz...well the whole ' drooling' things sounds aboot enough right  But its good for you to notice, as there really could have been something wrong (luckily there wasnt) so dont worry :)

Thanks you all for your support! i love this forum and everyone in it because u all are so nice! I can't thank you enough for you're understanding and concern! My cat is doing better because the same night i posted when my cat had his seizure episodes he had no infections or anything like that so out vet said he has a nerurological problem due to the front of the brain, D.C. (my cat) seizures have been doing better now because we are treating him with Phenobarbital, a medicine for epilepsy. So yeah you guessed it my cat has epolepsy...it is are and im sure it always will be but he hasn't grown into a different cat, just a cat with epilpsy. But I hope he will be okay which i am sure he will... :) and Tiffanie i am soooo sorry to hear about your dog! :( just be thankful he lived a long, happy life with you!!!

P.S. I'll keep you guys posted with D.C.'s recovery, that is the only way i can talk to people about it...thank you all again so much!

wow that's gotta look weird.. have you have an eye patch for him? he can look like a pirate  ok sorry just came to mind... but yea it wouldn't be so gross if the eye patchcovered it up. :)

and that's glad your cat is doing so well! my cat died a few months ago who lived with us for almost 13 years. :( (he was attacked by a bear when we were living in New York and it messed up his stomach so he had to get enimas periodically to cleanz his system out and the last time he was old and he had too many at one time so he had too much iron in his blood. but yea i'm over it now and we don't have anymore cats because my momdoesn't want anymore... we tried to have 2 strays but they stayed too wild so we had to get rid of them..

if ur cat is in pain and there is not much hope, dont you think that he deserves to be in a better place? not being nasty or anything, it seems harsh to me to let the cat live in prolonged agony! :( im sorry dear.

*crys* aaaw, thats so sad... but yes Chris, you're right. Its like torture, you're cats in pain and if theres not much hope, why let the cat go through pain till its time... I know its hard. I could'nt do that if i was in you're position. But i do think its the right thing to do.. so... :( Im really terribly sorry sweetie (((huggles)))

yea well he wasn't in pain except when he went to the bathroom sometimes but not always. and my parents wouldn't do that to him they think it's rather cruel to "put" an animal to sleep before his time wheter in pain or not. i can see if te animal was in extreme pain but just a lil doesn't mean "it's time"

Thanks you guys but now my cat is doing wonderful! i dunno why he was throwing up and stuff, but now he is doing better than every. We are going to try and take him off his medicine now cuz he only takes a half tablet a day and is doing fine but when we give him his med he doesnt act like himself and we dont like it. So, yah my cat is doing better i hope it will be for good this time! Thank you all for your support!
