Computer Problems

Im having really bad computer problems on my own computer. Right now im using another computer just so you know. Well with my own computer it just will not turn on. The screen will turn on and my printer but not that "box" thing. It also knocked out my internet too. haha not sure of the names of the computer parts. Anyways, the other night I was turning on my computer and then a few mins later it just shut down so I tried turning it on again but it would not work. I tryed looking into the plugs but everything seemed be be fine. It turnes out that my power bar was not working so we just changed it and my computer sooned worked for the night. Now that it's the nexted night I turned on my computer again and yet again it's not working.
Please Help

You shouldn't have a printer a monitor and the computer itself connected in the same power bar.

If you can, try connecting the computer itself it its own plug or simply try to unplug your printer and plug the computer in that plug instead.

^ thanks for your help .. I don't even use the printer right at this moment so I should un plug the printer asap.

that still did not work but we are taking it to my uncles to fix this week. We now believe that the switch is sticking in it so it's a small problem.

That happened to me with my laptop, I had corrupted memory on my motherboard and had to get that replaced. So it could be that, hopefully not but you know...

^ thats what happend to mine. My uncle gave it a new memory card. I guess there was alot of durt in it also since it was just sitting not touched before I owned it. My uncle who looked at it is looking for a new fan for my computer. All is good for far for my computer now *crosses fingers*.
