Yet a lot of people pick on pop music and such. Personally I think it's wrong to diss any kind of music. It's there because someone likes it and it's a matter of taste.

Well, that simply makes me believe that you merely had bad experiences in the punk atmosphere. Sure, it's your opinion, but I personally believe that the punk mentality and a lot of "punks" helped me to find my own identity, and I am glad for it.

Sure, there are plenty of ugly sides of punk, but you're generalizing when you say "punk is stupid."

And it's surprising to me that you say you were embroiled in the punk lifestyle for so long and still came out thinking that all punk was about is rebellion. That's just an instrument of punk, not its sole purpose or aspect.
