Eyes Half Shut

In the worst conditions
The difference between two numbers
Relying heavily on sedation for this

Say, couldn’t you say
In the worst conditions
There is no difference between two right numbers
There is no difference between right and numbers

If…
There would be no question mark if I finished
Everything’s the same; everything is a wrong number
There is always a question when you never finish

Unable
I’m stable
Restraint isn’t needed, not yet
Place the need
Not yet

In the best conditions
There would be no use for numbers
In everyday situations
There is only seven to fit and then I forgot

So…
There would be no ellipse if I asked a question
Everything is changed; everything is a right number
There is never a question if I don’t give one out to ask

Ideally
Not really
Lashing out isn’t there, not still
Just get there
No will

Hey, would you say
In the worst conditions
There is just seven numbers to forget
There is only seven numbers to remember
My time, my choice, my regret
