Mod Request...

I'd like to be a Mod here. I'm the mod @ the newsroom for the Punk Princess forums right now, would like to be one here too. If you'd like to see my posts and stuff, go there and see. I like anti's too :mrgreen: You should have a mod request forum, also, just as a suggestion.

Anyways, I personally think that having a 'request to be mod' forum is rather unprofessional. Moderating is a responsibility, sure it has privilieges, but it shouldn't be given out like that.

Here moderators are chosen either by an admin (when theres a real need for one) or after a discussion between the admins and the other moderators in a secret location.. lets call it for the time being: the bat cave :blink: I usually pick mods that demonstrate some maturaty and a particular interest in the forum they would be moderating. With your one post, I would have no clue where to put you.

Its great that you have other forum experience, but if you want to become moderator here, I'd rather base it on your postings/actions here.

There are plenty of great posters here that would make great moderators, I can't start giving out mod positions to people who post once and never come back :)

Truth be told, I find snagg3r's presence in the forum somewhat refreshing--in a, "hey we have our own town idiot" kind of way--and I think we'd be lacking something with him gone. If he'd simply drop the racist remarks and also try not to throw in comments that aren't applicable to discussions I might not be so snitty towards him.
