I review stuff when I'm bored.

Artist: 36 Crazyfists
Album: A Snowcapped Romance
Genre: in the stores, you'll find it under Metal. They've toured with hardcore bands. They're really not either one. But that'll give you an idea.

Review: Most of you probably have no idea who they are, so when I say this album is so much better than Bitterness The Star (their debut) it will be completely meaningless to you. It may not have a song quite as stand-outish as Slit Wrist Theory on Bitterness The Star, but it's fantastic anyway. And, hey, it doesn't have an explicit warning sticker on it either. They've definitely grown, and have been influenced by their tourmates in the last two years, and yet, lyrically, and with the very title of the album, they stay true to their Alaskan roots. Yeah, they're from Alaska. No wonder they're so damn angry.

Decent songs: At The End Of August, Destroy The Map, The Heart And The Shape, Song For The Fisherman

You might also like: Alexisonfire, Hatebreed, From Autumn To Ashes

Star Rating: ****

My friend absolutely bums these. I've never heard them though. I think Autumn To Ashes are ok, so i might give them a listen see what they're about.

f*ck no! I like sticking those on my head. *throws tantrum*

-Back on topic-

I kind of like these, uh, yeah, I won't be rushing out to buy the album [mainly because I don't have the money].

It's an expensive album. $24.99 at Sunrise. If it weren't for my giftcard... which I paid for anyway (long story involving malfunctioning Sugarcult CDs) I don't think I could've afforded it. Heh.
