Forum:

I bought a WWII US uniform as original. I was told it was made in England for a United States serviceman serving in Europe during WWII. I paid $260.00.

Just recently, I sold the uniform on Ebay for $1,175.00!!! Naturally, I was extatic! The guy paid, but didn't order insirance. So we bought it for him anyway. The insurance cost like $25.00.

That guy got the uniform in the mail today and says that he wants to send it back for a refund because its fake! He is either lying or under a false impression. The tunic is not tailored to US specifics because it is "theater made" (the term used for a uniform or other military item made for the US overseas) in England, so that may have confised. I do not want to refund the money because it isn't good. He was sent pictures, and I mean lots of pictures, including the uniform, the pins, the medals, etc., and he should have known what he was buying. Also, I can't refund the money because I'd be loosing money because we paid the extra money for the insurance.

I am devestated and feeling very aggressive. What should I do? Help!

Thanks!

quit that

I think the first thing would be to not post this in the sanctuary because it doesn't belong.

Where does it belong? If it does not belong here, please move it. Thanks.

It is something bothering him a lot, like he's angry. I think that this post should stay. Anyways, that sucks dude, hope things get better.

Dude, I say, if you sent him the pictures, then it's his problem. He shouldn't have bought something that expensive on ebay. And even if it is fake, it's not your fault.

Take it to court, let some one without apathy settle it.
