Well who would you like to see win the US election.

They both suck. Neither of them should win. Billie Joe Armstrong for president!!

Hummm, Now this poll is pointless as about aprox 5 people will vote now. Not quite Anything You Want is it the Anything You Want forum.

Well, I just got back from voting today. I did vote for Kerry, even though I don't think much of him; he's simply the "lesser of two evils." Regardless, since I live in California he's already guaranteed to win the electorate here, so it's pretty much up to the voters in the battleground states to determine things. It'd be interesting to see if Bush wins the electoral vote yet again but loses the popular vote for a second time.
Like they said in South Park: "It's always between a douche and a turd."

Hummm, Now this poll is pointless as about aprox 5 people will vote now. Not quite Anything You Want is it the Anything You Want forum. Well, anything related to politics usually ends up in discussion and unless you want people to vote and not reply or say something like, "Bush sux. I <3 sausage!", then I'll bitch slap this back to AYW.

It'd be nice to see what everyone thought, rather than people who visit in here. I do understand where your coming from though, this whole topic will be of no use in less than a day anyway where it can be trashed canned.

You know, so far there has been one American besides myself to post in this thread. You don't hear me whining about Tony Blair, so why do you guys care so much?

What he said ^
Even though technically im a non US citizen the result of the election will impact my life and every other UK citizen as well. We didnt just get 'How to survive a terrorist attack' booklet from the government for the fun of it, I'd say its because Bush got us involved in the wrong crowd. Also the UK people are alot more political so we like to talk about world politics as well as our own.

Well, if i were American and of age, and I HAD to vote (and I would), I would vote Kerry. if I could vote otherwise, I would, but as it's been said, Kerry is the lesser of two evils.

I'm betting on Bush, but I vote Kerry (duh). If this were a world vote, 100% of the Bush votes would be from the U.S.
And why do polls close as 7PM? All of the working class, the ones who probably would vote against Bush, are the ones who may not get to vote.

I don't know.... I know about them and they're both idiots. Kerry - "I HAVE A PLAN!!! AND PURPLE HEARTS!" Bush - "internets"
Anyways, I vote for Bush since it's not like he's fucking up the U.S. THAT badly, maybe Kerry would do worst (cause it looks like he can easily do worst).

How do you know who will do worse?

I don't want to really talk about it because I think that polotics is something way to biased to talk about but if I could vote I would vote Kerry.

Ok, ok..we all know that Bush is going to win. Think about it: Oil money vs. ketchup money!

I'd like to disagree with that *coughlostbillionscough* War begins with a Dubya, and he makes Clinton look good. And InspireMe, the 7pm closing time was probably not something that was...overlooked, to say the least.

Hmm...
I never thought Clinton was a bad president.
Well, I didn't know much about Clinton except for the Monica Lewinsky crap that I learned of later on, but when I've looked into it, yeah, Clinton was actually pretty damn good, made all the better looking by Bush.

Anyways, I vote for Bush since it's not like he's fucking up the U.S. THAT badly... Yeah, he's just fucking up the rest of the world instead.
Also, Clinton left office with a high approval rating because of an affair. Bush invaded a country under false pretenses and....well, you see what I'm getting at.

Personally, I figured there was so much stacked up against Bush that there was no way--despite how close it might be--that he'd be re-elected this year.
Now, with the major networks projecting he's nigh but 1 single electoral vote away from the presidency, I have finally come to the conclusion that slightly over half of this country has gone completely CRAZY.

So, I was reminded today that the electoral vote is more important than the popular vote. If that's the case then...what's the point in voting? I don't know--it's a different system than how it's done up here. I guess it makes sense...maybe.

I guess, some people never learn. Kerry may not be that great either but If I was an american, I'd vote for him.

The good thing though, is that this generation (and some before and many after) will be taught by teachers who are forced to deal with NCLB. ...And I can safely assume that well over 90% of teachers are liberal. ...There's bound to be a large influence between the younger generations and the teachers.

It looks a bit like this: There are two apples left on the apple tree. There's one hungry mouse. One apple is infested with fruit flies. The other apple is half rotten and has a worm or two in it. Which will the mouse choose? The mouse decided to starve and die.
