Review: Blink 182 concert, Thursday night was fooking awesome, best night I've had in ages. Me and my friend, Gary went to Newcastle and it wasn't even sold out. I'll admit something now, this was actually the first concert I've ever been to and I think I chose a really good one to go to. Before Blink came on we got two support acts one of them, which Ximena may just hate me for =P The Kinison or whatever they're called opened with a 30-40 minute set. Didn't like them that much and they got plenty of abuse in the form of everything getting chucked at them. Lead singer was gay and he's like "Oh my god that nearly seriously hit me in the fucking eye". < Everyone laughs! Lol! I'll admit that there instrumentals were ok but vocally they sucked more **** than the lead singer. So the second act... who was it you ask? Wooo... Sugarcult! It's the first time I've ever heard any of there stuff and I'll admit they were really good, they did another 30-40 minute set. I really did like them, might have to get some of there albums, any recommendations? So yeah I got to see Sugarcult for free =D We had to wait another half an hour until Blink came on. They started with 'Feeling This' and another couple of songs from the latest album, but then did some of there older stuff like 'Whats My Age Again', 'First Date' etc. I really enjoyed it although the crowd seemed a little dead at times and the mosh pits sucked to be honest. So fucking funny seeing people crowd surfing to the front then the security guards just get there legs and rip them out the crowd, lmao! We were in the 'seated' seats and stood for 2 hours, but it was a class show, can't wait from them to come back to Newcastle, defo gunna see them again! Just found the set list:

Wow, sounds like you had a fantabulous time :D. I'm so jealous you got to see Sugarcult[even though i've seen them twice and met them already].. I wanted to go just to see them, but I decided too late and couldn't get a ticket. But anyways.. Mmm did Travis look sexy :D? I love him. Were they good singing live? 'Cuz a few performances I've heard, Tom and Mark weren't that great... but maybe it was just an 'off' day?

LOL Well I couldn't say if Travis looked sexy, but he was amazing on the drums, but he always is. There singing was quite good, but the sound system at Newcastle was a little messed up at times so it was hard to hear what they were singing. Apart from that it was a class show. But, Sugarcult are really good live.

Guitar solo....you sure his fingers weren't just tied to the strings because the guitar was fed up with being raped by a second hand "guitarplayer"???

I hated the medley when I saw them... maybe that's just me, because I would've actually liked to HEAR older songs in their entirety, but whatever.

If you'll notice, I didn't actually SAY anything about the solo.

Shut up, Leo. You're very frustrating.

Dammit (encore)

Legends, I like Blinks old stuff, not to kean on there new stuff though... but Dammit what a legandary song and possibly one of the easiest songs to play as well.

^ Yeah totally. I must admit that at times I didn't know most of the words for there new stuff, so I was well pleased when they started playing some older songs from there earlier albums.
