i wrote these last night:
DREAMER
I dream of another time and place
A far away land,
Is where my mind takes me
Away from this place
Away from these people
I want to be out in the world
Bringing joy to many
Have people look up to me
For my tr\alent
Why stay in a place where you are unwanted?
Those who used to be friends,
Are now foes
There's nothing here for me
That's why i let my mond drift
But can dreaming hurt,
If you know it will never come true?

Complete silence surrounds me
I look out the window
The bright mysterious moon glows down
Pitch black sky
Small twinking stars
The humble trees swaying
This is what I see
I turn to my room
Let my ears lead the way
The distant sound of passing cars
Every few minutes a spooked dog protecting it's home
The rustling leaves of nearby trees
This is what i hear
My nose alos gets a treat
To smell the autumn night
And my skin to feel
The light cool breeze
And all the while I'm experiencing this
I'm wishing I could be out with it
