Nothing to see—but everything you take from me
The frequency of echoes, a passive assault—outside, it shows?
Soft bleeding, thickness in strained coughs
Quickly, but not quick enough
Sucking my few drops of faith
Stretching thin
Wearing out
If it was done—one by one
Burnt away, undone
Names simplistic rhetoric—I didn’t hear
But tell me again, while I’m here

A frozen life dissected
Run away—see corrosion, faded
Time trip, validated
