yeah, i'm so sure they were picked cuz they were *hot*, and not cuz they had any actual talent :P i don't think jesse's hot and charlie's defenetly not hot, it all depends on the eyes of the beholder, some might think they're hot, others might not... aim VERY asited to announce...that my friend MATT who is in a band called Def Threat played with Closet Monster in '99. awesome eh? I was at the show..but at the time it was juss another band becuz i had no idea who they were.. i juss found out about it yesterday....we were talkin about how Sum 41 used to be alot harder...he said "we played with a band who is good friends with sum 41 and back in the day they used to be pretty hard" i asked him what band it was..and he said Closet Monster...i was like "ahahah YAY OMG thas one of Avril's guitar players band...." he was like.."no way...these guys used to have crazy mohawks and shit.." so we went to there site and looked at old pics of them..and sure enough it was the same band....

Getting back to the question... Avril's band wasn't always her band. They came from others like sum 41 and other known bands I'm not sure of. The record company set her up with them. They weren't always her boi's
