I'm back from the dead...and I need some help re: my roommate.
My roommate is a normally happy, crazy, funny person. But over the last while, she's been getting more and more upset. Here's why:
She can't keep her grades up very high
this is her second time through grade eleven;she thought it would be easy
the hockey here SUCKS (she came because she was spefically recruited for the hockey team)
she wants to go home
being here has made her hate hockey
she feels decieved because when she signed on to come here, she thought it would be a good team (which it is not)
her goals against (shes a goalie) has gone WAY up, which eliminates chances of hockey scholarships in the states, combined with her lower marks.
Oh..we're at boarding school by the way.
Anyways...I just need help figuring out what to say to her, or how to help her. I'm not so good with this stuff and I can't empathize....my average is 93, i have ample opportunities, I'm not on the hockey team and i'm quite content.
Does ANYONE have ideas how I can help? I hate to see her upset....
