The Main Site is Back Up!

After a few technical issues, and after being down for a week because the site was hacked, I'm pleased to say that the main site is back up and fully functional.

It is now running off the vB 3.5.4 script as is the forums, filled with new exciting features.

Hope you enjoy, and let me know if anything doesn't work properly.

Haven't been on these forums for a while, and even longer since I've been on the website. Since I last saw the website, you've done a tremendous job with it since Drew. I like how it directly links up to the forums and junk.

I always wanted it to be fully integrated, so I could post news on the main page directly from the forums. Much easier to maintain; now all i need is news writers!

Exactly. I was searching through her website the other day and it's bloody over two years since she released 'Under My Skin'.

Hey Drew, I wouldn't mind doing some writing. I think it's up to scratch after doing two years of A-Level English Language! Plus I've got about 8 weeks free over the summer holidays. Just holler, holler holler.

Hey that'd be great if you could, it would help the site a lot. Each time we update the front page with news, spiders (google) visits the site and updates their engine. The more frequent the updates, the better rated the site is. The better ratings translate into being found first in searches, which in the end brings more traffic to the site.

I'd like to build a team of people so the site gets updated 3-5 times a week (probably 1 post per person per week or something)

Anywyas, thats the plan for the future, but for now, I've put you in the 'News Writters' group so you can post directly in the Avril News forums, which gets propagated to the front page. Have fun

Actually it's quite funny there are only 3 mods left, plus The Canadian Sisters. I guess there's not much job to do on here these days, but still.

About what exactly? Avril news? There isn't anything to write about unless I made up something or analysed a current piece of Avril news. Is that the idea?
